GEO Committee Women of The Waterfront Award

This award recognizes a notable woman in the yachting industry, a CYBA member who exemplified exceptional service and support in the promotion of the profession and the CYBA’s standard of professionalism.

Requirements for nominations include:

  • A CYBA member in good standing.
  • Actively engaged in the boating/sailing industry activities on a local, regional and/or national level.
  • Exemplified the professionalism, ethical behavior, and business practices that are the trademark of the CYBA membership.
  • Actively promoted the CYBA and other professional associations in recreational boating to elevate professionalism, high standards of conduct, consumer awareness, and growth of the industry.

Through a nomination and election process open to the membership, the recipient will be presented during the Annual CYBA Dinner each year.  The award will be a custom-made award as their own personal keepsake and highlighted in a press release to be distributed on social media platforms, the CYBA website and CYBA Newsletter.
